What is Refocus Retreat?
The retreat will be based in the beautiful rural setting of The Embrace Retreat Centre amid the scenic North Down Drumlins, Northern Ireland, close to Killinchy.
Killinchy is a townland and small village, two miles inland from stunning Strangford Lough. And the retreat centre itself is set in 95 acres of farm land, and forest. There are designated walks through 80.000 trees, allowing you to connect with nature in total privacy.
Throughout the weekend you will experience mindful walks and nature bathing amid the stunning surroundings. You’ll have plenty of time to be still with your thoughts, and to find the peace that exists beyond your thoughts.
There will be space to write, to walk, to talk and simply to be. We will gather around the fire for letting go rituals and restore balance in our energies through EFT tapping.
This retreat will allow you to Refocus, Renew and Restore.
Facilitators
You will be guided in meditation and journaling by Andrea Murtagh throughout the retreat. This will include nature bathing, mindful walks and lots of time spent with your journal in nature, or in the beautiful and quaint setting of the Embrace retreat centre.
You will also be treated to a relaxing and restorative sound bath by the beautiful soul that is Treasa of Synchronicity Wellbeing. You will learn about and experience Aura-Soma, expertly guided by Anne Marie McMurdo. Aura‑Soma brings you closer to self‑understanding, it brings ease, balance and calm to your energetic system.
Experiences
The whole weekend will be catered by Truffleupagus Vegan Yums, and if you have attended the last retreat you will know just how special that will be. Sheena always brings the tastiest and most creative recipes to the table. They are nutritious, nourishing and delicious in equal measures.
We will finish the retreat on a high with an Sauna and Cold Water (optional, but I already know you’ll be ready for it by the end of the retreat) experience.
To allow for travel arrangements, please note the Retreat will open at 11.30am on Friday 5th July and close at 5pm on Sunday 7th July.
